I didnt have much negative feedback. The feedback I received was encouraging. This allowed me to work off my first pitch and just improve it. When producing this pitch I worked on wording. I changed some of the ways I said and explained things. This pitch was a little shorter so I had to decide what I wanted to cut out. I felt like a lot of the information was important so that was difficult. I feel like the pitch now is concise and to the point. I was surprised by what was liked in my first elevator pitch.
Hey Megan, I think you did a great job with the new elevator pitch. I watched your first pitch again just to see what you did differently, and quite frankly not a lot needed to be changed. The things that you needed to change though you did very well, and it made the pitch flow easily and made it more clear to follow for the audience. Overall, great second elevator pitch.

ReplyDeleteI think you spoke clearly on this pitch and if I were to put myself in the shoes of someone who has never heard of your plan before, I would understand what your plan is. A critique on your presentation skills is that it looks like you are reading off of a screen rather than talking and having a dynamic conversation. I think that you did sound robotic because of this fact. Other than that you did great explaining and talking clearly.
Hi Meg! I found your elevator pitch an improvement from your first in a few ways. I really liked how you tried to keep eye contact to the camera and didn’t use too many filler words. The only thing I would recommend for the future is either use your hands more or add more emotion to your voice. This is a great way to keep the audience engaged. Overall, great job!

I have really liked your app idea from the beginning and I think you did a great job selling it to your audience in the third elevator pitch. I think you looked confident and did a good job with utilizing your time and getting all your information in.
